Reach the Asian Bookmakers With One Account

You have read that the sharpest prices sit with bookmakers you have never heard of. Search the names and you meet dead websites, brands selling something else and four brokers that each say they are the way in.

“Asian bookmaker” names two different things. The first is a sharp book: a margin the book says is thin, built into the price, no exchange commission, and limits that vary by book. Pinnacle (and PS3838, which brokers call its white label), Sbobet and 3et belong here. The second is a brand that serves Asia but whose main product is not sports betting; this site does not cover those. Pinnacle, Sbobet and 3et take direct sign-ups in the countries they accept; PS3838 is reached through brokers, and the smaller names are only listed by them, which is not the same as available. Each broker has its own excluded countries, fees and ID checks. Most bettors lose over time. Check local law before you register anywhere.

Asian bookies: two meanings of one phrase

Search the phrase and two lists come back. One is short: the sharp books, the shops that price for volume. The other is long: brands that serve Asia but whose main product is not sports betting. This site covers the first list only, and only its sports betting (Pinnacle and Sbobet both sell other things too).

Sharp is shorthand for a margin that sits inside the price, so no exchange commission comes off a win, and for limits that depend on the book, the sport and the market. Pinnacle says it welcomes winners; its terms still reserve the right to refuse, restrict, cancel or limit any bet. An undated article of its own claims a 2% margin against an industry 6% on a Premier League three-way market: a claim about itself, not an audited number.

(“Asian” describes a style of book, not its customer list. Sbobet's terms exclude China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and the Philippines.)

Which books count as sharp, and where each one stops

Each row comes from the operator's own pages and ends with a limit. Check the current terms first.

The sharp books, who runs them and where each one stops
BookWho runs it, from its own pagesWhere it stops
Pinnacle and PS3838Pinnacle's own pages name Balder Media Ltd (Belize, Anjouan licence) and Ragnarok Corporation N.V. (Curaçao licence) without explaining the split. Brokers call PS3838 a Pinnacle white label; no official page says so.Pinnacle's terms exclude the UK, the USA, France, Germany and Australia among many others. We found no PS3838 list, so read the broker's, and brokers quote different PS3838 limits. Not for you if you live in an excluded country or need to see a maximum stake in advance.
SbobetEarlier terms named Celton Manx Ltd (Isle of Man); the current terms name Entrope S.R.L (Costa Rica) under a Tobique gaming licence, recognised differently by country. Older Isle of Man articles are out of date. Its help centre calls arbitrage a breach of its terms, and the terms bar the UK, the USA, France, Germany and Australia too, among many others. Not for you if you arbitrage or your country is on that list.
3etEurasia Sports Limited (Alderney), named in its terms and on the Alderney gambling regulator's register: beyond Pinnacle and Sbobet, the only name where we found both.Direct sign-up exists, so you may not need a broker. Its accepted-country list leaves out the UK, the USA and France, and outside Ireland its terms say funds sit in segregated but not protected accounts. Not for you if your country is not on the list.
Singbet, BetISN, Penta88, Turf7, SharpBetListed by brokers, not independently verifiable: no official site, operator or licence entry that we could verify. When we looked, the .com for Singbet was a parked sale page and the .com for BetISN did not resolve; treat any site using either name as unverified.Sportmarket's help article says Singbet is known for voiding bets, sometimes winning ones, and offers it on request only. Not for you if you want to know who runs a book before you fund it.

(One thing that trips people on arrival: Sbobet's help pages quote prices as profit per unit staked, the Hong Kong style, so its 0.95 is 1.95 in decimal. Add 1 before you compare it with anything.)

One login. Your country still decides.

How a retail bettor reaches an Asian bookmaker

Two routes exist. Direct, where the book has a public sign-up and its terms accept your country: Pinnacle, Sbobet and 3et. Or through a broker, a commercial arrangement between broker and book. The book's own terms still apply to you; Pinnacle's say you act solely on your own behalf as a private individual.

That is the limit inside “one account”. A broker account does not open a book to a resident of a country its terms exclude, and each broker adds excluded countries of its own (AsianConnect's own list is old). We found no operator or regulator text saying a resident of an excluded country may lawfully reach a book through a broker, so check local law and the current terms. Every broker asks for ID before a withdrawal.

BetInAsia's terms, read from archived copies, bar the UK, the USA, France and the Netherlands among others. Residents of those countries should look elsewhere.

AsianConnect: the grid ticks five of the eight, but its SharpBet entry is a tipster tool and Penta88 is disputed. Not for you if you want Sbobet or Turf7, which are not on its list.

MadMarket adds Australia to the UK and the USA on its excluded list, with Austria, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain among others. Not for you if you live in one of those countries or need a plain withdrawal fee: its own pages disagree.

Sportmarket names the UK, the USA and France, plus any country missing from its sign-up list, and gives Singbet on request only. Skip it if you live in one of those countries or want BetISN, Penta88 or Turf7.

The side-by-side broker comparison owns the fees, minimums and full country lists. What each book says about its limits is in which promises about limits hold up, and where winnings are capped in the terms covers caps such as Sbobet's.

Which broker lists which book

The grid is the site owner's coverage list for the eight Asian books. BetInAsia and MadMarket tick all eight, AsianConnect and Sportmarket five each: 8 + 8 + 5 + 5 = 26 ticks out of 32 cells. Only Pinnacle, Sbobet and 3et have an official page saying who runs them.

Where the other guides pick up

For the exchange side, see what an exchange does differently and the walk-through of matching and exchange commission; shopping for the best price does the sum across both. For which sports and markets the exchanges carry, see what the exchanges list.

Before you go further into the methods sharp bettors use, read the personal-use lines: BetInAsia, MadMarket and AsianConnect say in their terms that you bet for yourself, not for another party or for commercial purposes. And if it is Betfair Exchange you want, several of these brokers also sell an exchange tool, a commercial arrangement under the broker's terms and not a Betfair account; the step-by-step guide to getting in gives the order in which to try things.

Questions people ask

What is an Asian bookmaker?

It depends who is asking. Among sharp bettors it means a book that says its margin is thin: Pinnacle (and PS3838, which brokers call its white label), Sbobet, 3et. In search results it also means any brand serving Asia whose main product is not sports betting. This site covers the first meaning only.

Are Asian bookies legal and safe where I live?

This site cannot say for your country. Each book and each broker names countries it excludes, and local law may forbid online betting even where a form accepts you. Check local law, then the current terms.

Can I sign up with an Asian bookmaker directly?

Sometimes. Pinnacle, Sbobet and 3et take sign-ups in the countries they accept. For Singbet, BetISN, Penta88, Turf7 and SharpBet we found no verifiable official site, operator or licence entry, so a broker listing is a claim, not proof. Do not guess a domain, because lookalikes exist; ask the broker who runs the book.

Is a broker the same as a bookmaker?

No. A bookmaker sets a price and takes your bet. A broker offers access to several books through one login, under its own terms, fees and ID checks.
